What to expect, my first time at First Baptist Church Jeannette?
What can you expect when you first visit?

You can expect to be warmly welcomed. You can expect to see people enjoying being together, laughing and talking. You can expect to be in a place where you can worship, where you are comfortable and familiar: whether in a traditional or contemporary way. You can expect to feel a worshipful atmosphere. You can expect to "feel at home".

Join us Sunday as we come together to worship, learn and change.
SERVICE TIME

Join us at any Sunday Service
NORMALLY
Sunday Morning @ 10:45 am - 11:45 am

 WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

All of our parking is street parking along both sides of North Second Street and Hacker Street. Our neighbors are understanding and friendly and they share parking with us all the time. Also above us is Mason Gelder Funeral Home and they have graciously given us permission to use their parking lot as well. If you are unsure about a particular parking spot, we have at least one greeter outside to help with any questions you might have.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT TO SEE AS I ENTER THE BUILDING?

You will enter through a set of glass double-doors in the back of the sanctuary. Greeters will also be on hand to answer any questions and help guide you through our enormous facility. You will be given a church bulletin which will show the order for the service and anything else you'll need to know.
ARE YOU PREPARED TO ACCOMMODATE YOUNG CHILDREN AND HOW CAN I KNOW THEY WILL BE SAFE?

All of our junior-church leaders and nursery volunteers have their clearances! Your children will be safe and they will have fun with Sue, Carol, Janice, and Dana. Elementary age children are dismissed for junior-church after our middle song (praise song) is concluded. From that point they'll remain with our adult leaders until you pick them up at the end of the service.
HOW WILL I RECOGNIZE THE PASTOR?

Our pastor's name is "Pastor Charlie" but you can also call him by his formal name "Charles Bowser". Our pastor first began his ministry here in September of 2007. Both he and our congregation have been through some pretty challenging times. Over the past several years we have undergone tremendous change. And currently we are in the process of discovering God's vision for this unique church family. We are excited to begin this new chapter of life as a community of believers.
HOW SOULD I DRESS?
Come as you are! Most of our congregation dress pretty casual. We believe that God is most concerned about what is on the inside and less about what is worn on the body.
